(This is a picture of my cat Lily...I just posted it for fun. Isn't she a beauty?)

In Brooke's comforting words, Debbie has gone to be with the Lord. And it's been hard for me to post since Debbie's passing last Thanksgiving Day. Mostly, I am so thankful for the fact that Debbie is now cancer-free, as Alex said last week.

This is from the Message, which has been oft-quoted recently, as Debbie loved its words:

"We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!" (1 Cor. 13:12)

Praise God that Debbie knows Him directly and fully.

p.s. Does anyone reading this own a steamer?

I own a clothing steamer...Conair makes a $30 one that I got from Target. (It was about the same price as the ironing board I wanted!)

You can give it a trial run if you'd like...It's super easy to use, and paired with Downy Wrinkle Release, it meets my laundry needs. (Keep in mind that I am not the laundry queen!)
