A Red-Letter Day

I finished my thank you notes.

Now, my goal was to finish before 6/22--two months after the wedding. But 6/28 (last night)... I'll take it. There are still 3 addresses I need to dig up, but all writing of text is complete. This comes on the heels of Kristy Crawford's post, the importance and art of writing notes, etc. etc., so I feel somewhat blogger-timely. I'm not only timely, but extremely relieved. Any notes written after this will be gravy. Icing. Fun, maybe.

Special thanks to the NBA for having a really long drafting process. Without you, this block of uninterrupted writing time would not have been possible. Thank you.

(I hope no one reading this had their thank you note lost in the mail...)

  1. Hilarious. We got together with Brooke/Josh & Charles/Julie last night and Nick & Josh could hardly pay attention to the conversation because the draft was muted in the background.

Congrats on the thank yous. I am still standing in front of the proverbial wall that I've hit. I would give anything to write a note just for fun these days!!

  2. Yay! Good for you. I must be some sort of sick-o, but I missed having thank you's to write once the dreaded task was completed. I enjoyed getting my pretty papers out when straggling gifts came in... What in the world! Anway, congrats to you.
